Measurement and Performance
Measurement is a core value and key competency of T.LAB. We have established performance benchmarks and measure the performance of our core processes, academic systems, instructors, parents and students. Our primary mission is to: “Create extraordinary academic achievement especially among urban students, to prepare them to assume leadership roles in careers as entrepreneurs, physicians, nurses, research scientists and in other professions.”
We leverage feedback from formal measurement efforts to realize operating excellence.
Leadership
Competency based leadership courses are provided to students using the cohort format. These courses use a value-based model while enabling students to understand and deliver highly ethical, moral and spiritual leadership. As well, students are challenged with preparing to engage and implement change. These courses leverage a diverse set of content mediums including computer simulation, web enabled, stand-up instruction, and video conference-based using leading leadership experts and general practitioners.
We collaborate with parents and students to research, apply and realize college scholarships. Our models for realizing college scholarships are highly effective and have realized significant results. Finally, our college transition training enables students to shorten lead times and become engaged- effective professionals immediately.
